Scholastic Tom Gates: Excellent Excuses (And Other Good Stuff) by Liz Pichon - Book 2 - Paperback - Ages 9-12 - Bestselling Illustrated Funny Fiction

Tom Gates: Excellent Excuses (And Other Good Stuff) is the second book in Liz Pichon's award-winning Tom Gates series. Presented as Tom's own homework diary, this paperback is packed with doodles, comic asides and laugh-out-loud storytelling. With no school for two whole weeks, Tom has plenty of time for band practice, biscuits and avoiding his sister Delia - and plenty of excuses to invent along the way. A brand new UK edition, perfect for reluctant and enthusiastic readers alike. About the book, Tom can forget all about lessons, homework and irritating classmates like Marcus Meldrew, and concentrate on the important things in life: inventing new ways to annoy his sister Delia, band practice with DOGZOMBIES alongside his best mate Derek, and the serious business of watching TV while eating caramel wafers.
